Only Part of the Drive Data Can Be Accessed

Data Recovery after delete, format or missing files

Just the other day, I inserted my external HDD into my computer for copying some important files. However, the problem rose. As I tried to open one of the main folders on this drive, it asked me to format it. Immediately, I tried the rest of file folders. They all could work well as before. Can someone help me out?
